Value Added

Waterways and tile systems are very important for directing and controlling water. With the large rains central Illinois has been receiving it has became imperative to do extra work to keep those waterways and tiles functional.  A 12 foot box blade was purchased by the farm to make waterway repairs possible. If there is a job that can't be done by our equipment alone, we find someone who can finish the job.  We also fix our own tile holes which saves the landowner money and keeps their systems running properly. Our main job as farmers is to be a steward of the land and to maintain or grow the value of your farm.  This is one place we try to add value to the farm by maintaining property that the farm operates on.

This job was 115 foot of broken clay tile that we replaced with plastic on a crop share farm.
Taking care of tree lines and drainage ditches is also included in this line of work.  Trimming and spraying trees is something that is done annually to make sure the farm is in its best shape.
